Ramon Larramendi Arctic Dreams at the Film Festival Orobie
Maybe suggest a few names that are anything but happy to reveal the mystery.
last winter when we visited the island of Minorca in kayak in the store stocked and Teresa Carlos of " Menorca en kayak " we found an interesting volume that we briefly mentioned in a post: "Tres anos Traves in the Arctic ".
We discovered that in 1993, Ramon has crossed the Arctic with 3 friends in 3 years (three years!) And spanning 14,000 kayaking, luge and skiing adventure that allowed him to fully understand that world and that after a few years made him come the idea of \u200b\u200bfounding the travel agency " Polar Lands."
After some time, then, we received the welcome invitation to meet him and meet him in person by his friend and colleague Patricia, head of the Italian branch of Polar Lands, who contacted us after reading our blog ... when you say that the Internet coming! Let

Last winter we've visited Minorca by kayak : in the " Menorca en kayak " shop managed by Carlos and Teresa we've roused an interesting volume and we've shortly written about it in a post: "Tres anos a traves del Artico" .
In the 1993 Ramon has completed the Arctic crossing covering in 3 years (Three Years!) 14.000 km in kayak, sleigh and ski: after few years he has found the travel agency " Polar Lands ".
Some days ago we've received the pleasant invitation to meet him from his friend and colleague Patricia: she has read our blog and... Internet approaches!
We will go to Bergamo for the second evening of the Orobie Film Festival : Sunday 6th of February, Ramon introduces his unbelievable trip along the coasts of Greenland, Canada and Alaska, following the mythical northwestern passage to realize the first not mechanized polar crossing!
A great opportunity for us: through the kayak we've fell in love with the Artic, its people and legends; we're dreaming to paddle there sooner or later... does anybody want to join us?
