Acronis Installation Problems

tuilik!

When I first started kayaking did not even know what a "tuilik.
Then I learned the Greenland Eskimo and I opened up a world of kayak lines stretched, wooden paddles, harpoons, throwing wood e. .. tuilik !
Inuit hunters always use this curious sealskin jacket with hood and flap to form a single piece, which allows them not only to protect themselves from the rigid freezing temperatures but also to become one with your boat. The
tuilik are handmade on anthropometric measurements of the hunter and are adapted to the size of the cockpit of the kayak, and also generally made of wood covered with seal skin, treated in such a way as to make it completely waterproof.

One of the models on display at the National Museum of Copenhagen
In Greenland kayak competitions , born with the intention of keeping alive an old tradition we know almost exclusively for his playful side, we require all participants to wear tuilik: The West may have neoprene, while the natives must have a seal-skin, so as to pass on the ancestral technique through the game. With the volcanic
Alessio Fantacci we occupied one of the long and cold winter days to start this small project: a neoprene tuilik homemade!

The cramped conditions of our studios have made the company highly unlikely, especially for tantric position that we have should take to cut the paper patterns, fabric create a model, report on measures to cut again and double-lined neoprene, paste, sew e. ..
simply paste the pieces and adapt a little to our measurements, what looked like a complicated work proved easier than expected, only we sewed the wrists at the point where they will be more encouraged by the passage of the hands .. .

not hard to find instructions and reference materials and the site is still and always to QajaqUsa : with a little patience, a bit of dexterity and a strong awareness of its limitations, we have almost succeeded in doing this and now need is to assemble the pieces before the fateful test the water!
is not a wonder?!?

When I first started kayaking I did not even know what is a "tuilik.
After Some Time, I finally learned the Greenland and roll I magically discovered a new world: Greenland kayaks, Greenland paddles, norsaq, harpoon and... tuilik !
The Inuit hunters usually use this curious seal skin jacket, with hood and spray skirt in a one piece, to protect them from the polar temperatures but also to realize a perfect combination beetwen the man and his kayak.

In the Greenland Kayaking Competitions , borned some years ago to maintain a thousand-years tradition, which we almost exclusively know for its recreational sides, the participants must wear a tuilik: the strangers can use a neoprene tuilik, while the native must have a seal skin one, in the way to preserve the tradition with the games too.
With my volcanic friend Alessio Fantacci we were busy for some cold winter days to realize our little project: a neoprene home made tuilik!
Our too small apartment made the work bit unlikely, expecially for the tantric position we had to assume for cutting the model paper, to sew a cloth model, to take the measures on the neoprene sheet and than to cut, glue, sew again and so on...

You can simply find some instructions on QajaqUsa  web site.
With patience, manual skills and above all a strong awareness of our own limits, we have almost succeeded and now we have one work left: collect the single parts and then plunge into a water test!
Here you are our first model: it's wonderful, isn't it?!?
