Listening to the people of Greenland

At the end of the year, while we were on the way to Barcelona, \u200b\u200ba few days before starting our winter trip to Ibiza & Formentera , we made a stop in Monaco (in Monaco, not in Bavaria!) we wanted to visit a photo exhibition we have been waiting a long time, quella realizzata da due amici kayakers sugli Inuit della Groenlandia.
Il progetto di Nathalie ed Alain Antognelli è ambizioso e non si riduce alla sola esposizione, pure incredibilmente ricca, allestita fino allo scorso 3 gennaio alla "Galerie des pecheurs" del Museo Oceanografico monegasco; i due avventurosi coniugi, infatti, vogliono documentare i cambiamenti climatici di quello spicchio di mondo e hanno così programmato un impegnativo viaggio in kayak lungo le coste della Groenlandia nell'arco di ben 3 anni (che potrebbero diventare 5 per terminare le ultime due tappe programmate).
Sono già stati a pagaiare tra i ghiacci da maggio ad ottobre nelle estati del 2009 e 2010, partendo da Upernavik e coprendo the first two stages of the journey along the west side ... the largest island in the world could reach "our" Ammassalik .
Meanwhile, to promote the initiative and raise funds, the two roam the world and participate in the most prestigious festival theme: tomorrow will be in Paris at Festival "Grand Nord Grand Large " to present in a blaze of films and documentaries on their slides "Listening to the Inuit of Greenland!
We hope to invite them at least once here too!

At the end of the year, while we were driving down to Barcellona, few days before our winter trip to Ibiza&Formentera , we stopped in Monaco (the Principality, not in Bavaria!): we wanted to visit a photographic exposition we waited for a long time, realized by two kayakers about Greenland Inuits.
Nathalie and Alain Antognelli realized and ambitious project and it is not just the exposition, also incredibly rich, prepared up to the last 3rd of January into the "Galerie des pecheurs" of the Oceanographic Museum;  in fact, the two adventurous photographers want to document the climatic changes of that segment of the world and they have so programmed a binding sea kayak trip kayak along the Greenland coasts within 3 years (maybe 5 to finish the last two legs).
They have already been to paddle from May to October in the summers of 2009 and 2010, starting from Upernavik and covering their first two legs of the trip along the western coast... at the end of the trip, they could also reach  "our" loved Ammassalik .
Meanwhile, to promote the project they became two globe-trotters: They will be in Paris tomorrow, to the Festival "Grand Nord Grand Large " Their slide show to present "Listening to the Inuit of Greenland ... let's hope to be Able to Make Them as here in Italy too, ounces at least!
